Najaf Chamber and the Indian ambassador to Iraq are discussing joint trade cooperation

 

Chamber Chairman Mr. Haider Al-Ethari, India's Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Birinder Singh Yadav and his accompanying delegation, received a number of members of the Board of Directors and a group of merchants and businessmen in Najaf Governorate.

The Chamber Chairman reviewed the history of the relationship between the Chamber and the Indian Embassy during the past years, especially the effective cooperation in organizing exhibitions, conferences and bilateral meetings for businessmen from both sides since 2009 until now, appreciating the Indian embassy’s permanent cooperation with the Indian embassy. The Chamber during the past years and the measures taken to facilitate the issuance of visas. Chairman of chamber also touched on the depth of historical relations between the Iraqi and Indian peoples, due to their historical, cultural and religious ties.

He pointed out the importance of Indian companies entering the Iraqi market through establishing local partnerships in strategic projects that represent a major turning point in the course of economic relations and serve the economies of the two countries.
