The Najaf Chamber of Commerce received a delegation from the Indian Embassy in Baghdad, including the Director of the Commercial Department at the Embassy and the Director of the Consular Section. The Chamber’s President, Engineer Haider Al-Athari, reviewed the history of the relationship between the Chamber and the Indian Embassy over the past years, particularly the effective cooperation in organizing exhibitions and conferences.
The Chamber’s Chairman also touched upon the depth of historical relations between the Iraqi and Indian peoples, given their historical, cultural, and religious ties. He noted the importance of Indian companies entering the Iraqi market through local partnerships in strategic projects that represent a major turning point in the course of economic relations and serve the economies of both countries.
