The Najaf Chamber of Commerce held an economic Ramadan evening in cooperation with the University of Kufa, entitled:
“Partnership for Economic and Social Development in Najaf: the role of the university and the private sector”
In the presence of a number of businessmen, merchants, university presidents and professors
Engineer Haider Al-Ethari, Chairman of the Chamber, gave a welcoming speech in which he made clear about the Chamber’s vision of holding such evenings and seminars discussing the most important economic issues and with the participation of specialized academic elite. which would positively reflect the economic movement in the province.
In his valuable lecture, Dr. Al-Zubaidi talked about the full economic and statistical development of Najaf and income, as he talked about multidimensional poverty and a simple idea of unemployment and ways to activate cooperation between the university and the private sector.
