The Najaf Chamber of Commerce welcomed an Iranian trade delegation that included a number of companies and investors in the fields of oil, gas, petrochemicals, infrastructure, roads, designs, electrical materials, mineral water, central markets and the food industry.
During the meeting, ways to enhance trade relations between the two countries were discussed. The Chairman of Najaf Chamber of Commerce, Haider Al-Ethari , stressed the importance of making more efforts to activate real partnerships to overcome obstacles to traditional trade exchange, and expressed his willingness to put forward some ideas that encourage Iranian companies to invest and implement projects.
The owners of Iranian companies talked about a number of obstacles that stand in the way of commercial cooperation between the two countries, including the difficulty of financial transfer, some obstacles to the implementation of projects and the difficulty of issuing entry visas for Iranian businessmen to Iraq.
