The Chamber receives the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq

The Najaf Chamber of Commerce received the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, Mr. Jan Schneidov, and the economic advisor at the embassy.
The Czech Ambassador said that Najaf is a safe province and there is a lot of work that can be done within the framework of joint cooperation.
For his part, Mr. Hamed Al-Ramahi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, spoke about the importance of Najaf as a province in the middle of the Middle Euphrates provinces, and pointed out that Najafi businessmen are eager to work with Czech companies and called for facilitating the granting of entry visas for Najaf merchants.
The Czech economic advisor said that the tasks of the embassy are to build bridges between companies in the two countries and that it is ready to provide information about any Czech factory and product that is inquired about and talked about the sobriety of Czech industries in various specialties, including cars, electronic industries, electronic games, glass and water filtration, indicating that 70% of Czech exports go to the European market.
He also called for coordination between companies between the two countries through the participation of Iraqi companies in exhibitions and trade delegations in the Czech Republic, and it was agreed to form a trade delegation from Najaf merchants to visit the Czech Republic next year.
A member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Mr. Mohammed Hussein Zuwain, said that Iraq’s geology is rich in important raw materials, but there are not enough factories to invest them, calling on Czech companies to open industrial factories in the country.
The meeting was attended by a number of Najafi traders and a number of Czech embassy officials.
