The Najaf Chamber of Commerce received the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Baghdad, Mr. Muhammad Fazlul Bari, in the presence of the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Najaf Chamber of Commerce. His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his thanks and gratitude for the reception of the President and members of the Chamber to the Embassy delegation in their previous visit with the Chairman of the Federation of Manufacturers in Bangladesh.
The Ambassador said that the previous visit resulted in trade agreements between Najaf businessmen and their counterparts from Bangladesh.
The Chairman of the Chamber, Engineer Haider Al-Athari, also invited Ambassador Mohammed Bari to establish permanent exhibitions in Najaf to further publicize Bangladesh’s products and also a good opportunity for direct communication with manufacturers by Najafi businessmen and traders, as well as a list of exhibitions held in Bangladesh for the purpose of promoting them through the Najaf Chamber of Commerce, the Chairman of the Chamber requested the Ambassador to send a list of exhibitions held in Bangladesh.
H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Bari invited Najafi traders and businessmen to visit Bangladesh and see the commercial activity and investment opportunities in Bangladesh. At the end, Ambassador Barry presented souvenirs to the President of the Chamber to express their gratitude for this visit and to enhance the spirit of friendship between Iraq and Bangladesh.
