Mr. Maki Shaker Mahmoud, a member of the Board of Directors, representing the Najaf Chamber of Commerce, participated in the activities of the Iraq-Britain Business Council (IBBC) held in London on June 3, 2025, under the slogan: “Together We Build Iraq.”
This participation comes at a time when the Iraqi economy is going through a critical phase, as the government seeks to diversify its sources of income away from its reliance on oil. This effort is being pursued through investment in infrastructure projects, most notably the Faw Port and the Development Road Project.
