The Najaf Chamber of Commerce received the First Secretary of the Commercial Attaché at the Indonesian Embassy in Baghdad, Mr. Sartono Hendarso. During the meeting, Chamber President Eng. Haider Al-Athari spoke about opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, particularly in Najaf, an industrial, agricultural, and touristic city.
Mr. Sartono highlighted the strength of Indonesian industries in several fields and invited the Chamber to participate in the Indonesia Expo, which will be held next October and is the largest trade fair in the country. Discussions also addressed the desire of Indonesian companies to enter the Iraqi market and participate in trade fairs in Iraq.
